Senior Cost Engineer

Senior Cost Engineer responsible for cost estimation, analysis, and control activities for mining and metals projects. Coordinating the non-routine cost engineering/planning and scheduling needs of the projects, implementing cost monitoring and control standards, and developing project-specific account codes.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in engineering (or international equivalent)
• 8-10 years of relevant experience or 12-14 years of relevant work experience
• Experience in Project Control/Cost Management
• Experience in engineering and construction management projects, ideally in mining
• Demonstrated experience in the execution, monitoring, and evaluation of cost engineering activities
• Experience in trend preparation, change management, and trending Capex
• Strong command of Microsoft tools, especially Excel, and desirable handling of Power BI
• Proficiency in the use of EcoSys software
