Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) provides ABA assessment and clinical services for children, adolescents and adults with autism spectrum disorders and related developmental disabilities.
Requirements
- Comply with most current Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB) Ethics Code.
- Administers, conducts, evaluates, and supervises the implementation of behavioral assessment measures.
- Develops individualized goals and objectives for home-, community-, and center-based programs and designs behavior support plans.
- Trains Registered Behavior Technicians and ABA Therapists on the proper implementation of educational and clinical programming.
- Provides high-quality supervision for Licensed Behavior Specialists pursuing credentialing as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst.
- Conducts weekly/biweekly supervision meetings with Licensed Behavior Specialists, Registered Behavior Technicians, ABA Therapists, and Teachers.
- Maintains billable caseload and documents billable hours according to state and federal regulations.
- Develops written reports documenting behavioral recommendations for parents, caregivers and agency personnel in a timely and accurate manner.
