Job Description
As a Travelling Technician at Britannic Explorer, a Belmond Train, you will inspect, maintain and repair various components of the train, ensuring safety protocols are followed and adhered to for all mechanical and electrical systems.
Requirements
- Eligibility to work in the UK
- At least 5 years' experience maintaining and/or overhauling railway vehicles, ideally with Mk1, Mk3 or other coach type experience
- Good general education, literate and numerate, able to communicate effectively with in-house artisans, contractors, on-train staff and those of Network Rail, train operators and other companies
- Craft trained through a recognised electrical and mechanical apprenticeship
- Knowledge of applicable safety regulations, including appropriate elements of the Rule Book, Railway Group Standards, Electricity at Work Act, etc.
