BelovED Community Charter School is seeking a Middle School Academy Dean to lead instructional excellence and drive scholar achievement in a culturally vibrant and diverse community. The ideal candidate will have experience in instructional leadership, teacher professional development, and coaching. Requirements

• Minimum certification - Standard License from the NJ Department of Education
• Demonstrated expertise in the analysis of assessment data, the use of data to drive instruction, and the training of teachers to lead effective Professional Learning Community meetings
• Deep commitment to the mission and goals of the school
• Minimum seven years of teaching experience at the middle or high school level
• Experience as an education program leader at a high performing charter public school, traditional public school, or privately managed school
• Proven strengths in the area of teacher professional development and coaching
• Expertise in the analysis of assessment data, in how to use data to drive instruction, and in training teachers in how to conduct effective Professional Learning Community meetings
