Elementary Academic Dean

Empowerment Academy Charter School is hiring an Academic Dean at Empowerment’s Elementary School. The Academic Dean will focus on developing the academy’s cadre of teachers and the effectiveness of the instructional program.

Requirements

• A standard teaching license from the NJ Department of Education
• Seven years of teaching experience
• Experience as a leader in a high-performing charter public school
• Experience working with a diverse student population
• Proven strengths in the area of teacher professional development and coaching
• Expertise in the analysis of assessment data and data-driven instructional planning
