As the Individual Insurance and Financial Services Sales Representative, you will report to the Regional Vice President and build awareness, brand and sales for Beneva in Ontario by developing strong business relationships with advisors. You will support the Sales Directors and Back-office Team within the MGA organizations in Ontario West and the GTA in coordinating presentations, activities, & events to further promote Beneva.
Requirements
- Degree or Diploma in Business Administration or other relevant degree, an industry designation, or significant work experience
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience in financial product sales to independent advisors
- Hold either an Advisor License or an Insurers Representative license that is valid and in good standing (for the province of Saskatchewan only)
- Strong knowledge of the Life Insurance industry and products is a must
- Good knowledge of investment products
- Able to work from home/road in a virtual office environment
- Ability to travel 50% of the time within given territory
- License in Life Insurance and/ or a registration to sell Mutual Funds or in the process of undertaking to obtain this is an asset
- An aptitude for sales and business development, consultative sales and relationship management
- Excellent verbal and written English communications and presentation skills
- Bilingualism in French and English is an asset
- CFP, CLU, CHFC, CFA designations are an asset
