Job Description
The EHS Specialist assists the EHS Manager in leading all Environment Health and Safety (EHS) processes to provide a safe workplace and comply with governmental regulations.
Requirements
- BA/BS Occupational Safety or related field – or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
- 5-10 years of experience with risk control issues such as employee health, safety, fire protection, and environmental protection.
- Ability to analyze regulatory and non-regulatory standards to determine best practices.
- Experience with continuous improvement methodologies preferred.
- Experience with medical procedures, protocols, processes, etc.
- OSHA Recordkeeping Requirements Knowledge and Safety Metric Calculations
- ASP, CSP, CHMM, EMT, or equivalent professional credential preferred
- SAP knowledge Preferred/Microsoft Office Suite Required.
