EnerSys is a global leader in stored energy solutions for industrial applications. The EHS Specialist is responsible for implementing and maintaining environmental, health, and safety programs to ensure a safe and compliant workplace.
Requirements
- Develop, implement, and monitor EHS policies and procedures to comply with local, state, and federal regulations
- Maintain applicable environmental permits
- Conduct regular audits and inspections of facilities, equipment, and processes
- Coordinate and deliver safety training sessions for employees
- Investigate incidents and accidents, prepare reports, and recommend corrective actions
- Maintain EHS Documentation, including Safety Data Sheets (SDS), injury logs, permits, and compliance reports
- Support the development and implementation of emergency response plans and drills
- Serve as the point of contact for external EHS Audits and inspections
- Track and analyze EHS performance metrics (KPI’s) to drive continuous improvements
- Promote employee engagement and awareness around safety initiatives and best practices
