​Systems Engineer, Enterprise Operations​ Center

Berkadia is seeking a Systems Engineer to manage the design, installation, and maintenance of its technology infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have experience in cloud computing, monitoring and observability tools, and on-premises systems.

Requirements

• Exceptional communication and presentation skills
• Ability to manage all assigned activities efficiently in standalone mode
• Knowledge and strong aptitude in problem solving techniques
• 24x7x365 surveillance and alerts reporting and resolution
• Willingness to work in a 24x7x365 setup
• Persistent follow through towards issue resolution
• Escalation of issues to Level 2 and 3
• Understanding of application and business functionality
• Response to telephone calls, email/chat/web requests for technical support
• Work with globally distributed IT support teams
• Update/maintain centralized documentation and artifacts
• Inform field IT personnel and/or vendors of issues
• Analyze performance and observability data and logs
• Work in collaboration with various teams
• Help define and ensure that SLOs, SLAs, OLAs, and SLIs are met
• Managing cloud environments in accordance with company security guidelines
• Troubleshoot incidents, identify root cause, fix and document problems
• Employ exceptional problem-solving skills
• Participate in the annual disaster recovery planning process
