Grant Associate

The Grant Associate assists the Research Administrative Manager with daily administrative tasks, including reviewing grant applications, following up on invoices, and facilitating grant closeouts. Responsible for providing vacation, leave, or vacancy coverage. Assists with various expense items, such as making deposits, transferring funds, and assignment of expenses. Supports overall grant proposal submission process, including grant intake, budget entry, and grant compliance.

Requirements

• Associate's degree required or other post high school education.
• 0–1-year related work experience required.
• Experience with computer systems required, including web-based applications and some Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to make decisions that are guided by general instructions and practices requiring some interpretation.
• Ability to address problems that are varied, requiring analysis or interpretation of the situation using direct observation, knowledge, and skills based on general precedents.
