Requirements

• Prepare for assigned surgical procedures, utilizing physician preference cards and available resources.
• Demonstrate resourcefulness and prioritize set-up according to accepted standards.
• Maintain strict aseptic technique and assist with prepping and draping according to procedure.
• Communicate with the team to promote smooth progression of the procedure.
• Perform counts according to MAH policy/procedure and practice electro-surgical safety.
• Give thorough, concise report at change of shift or whenever relieved from surgical procedure.
