Unit Coordinator

Unit Coordinator provides clerical support to inpatient nursing unit under general supervision of Registered Nurse.

Requirements

• Prepare patients' charts, ensuring necessary forms are available and patient information is ready daily
• Assemble charts for admissions, transfers, and discharges
• Process physician orders using computer systems
• Utilize bed tracking systems to support patient flow
• Answer telephones, respond to queries, and maintain confidentiality
• Inventory office supplies and order new supplies as needed
• Follow department procedures for access to non-controlled medications
