Unit Coordinator

The Unit Coordinator provides clerical support to the inpatient nursing unit, preparing patient charts, processing physician orders, and utilizing computer systems. They also respond to queries and take care to maintain patient confidentiality.

Requirements

• Prepare patient charts with necessary forms and information
• Assemble charts for admissions, transfers, and discharges
• Utilize computer systems to process physician orders and bed tracking systems
• Answer telephones and respond to queries from physicians and staff
