Job Description
The Behavior Specialist I is responsible for providing psychological services to clients on the main campus of Beverly Farm Foundation within their assigned unit according to their caseload and interdisciplinary team request.
Requirements
- Provide annual assessments for clients on their caseload
- Write behavior management plans for clients
- Monitor clients on psychotropic medications progress monthly
- Accompany clients to psychiatry appointments
- Teach classes on behavior modification and aggression management
- Provide in-services to staff regarding behavior issues
- Serve as a representative to the Human Rights and Behavior Management Committees
- Provide permanent records for clients
- Provide social support for clients with emotional or adjustment issues
