As the Service Manager BTR, you'll have a big mission to coordinate the work of employees who repair and maintain buildings/facilities. Prepares work schedules, assigns work, and oversees the work product. May be involved in new construction or modification of existing properties.
Requirements
- Minimum of two years or more experience with progressive maintenance, safety, and all major types of heating and air conditioning, construction background including, but not limited to: foundations, framing, roofing, plumbing and electrical.
- Working knowledge of building maintenance, repair, and preventative maintenance programs, irrigation and pool systems, large and small appliance repair.
- Ability to work remotely if necessary.
- A positive, motivating and team- oriented attitude.
- Strong organization skills; being able to manage warranty requests with multiple vendors.
- Basic computer skills/knowledge required to perform job functions.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and excellent time management skills; ability to prioritize work functions.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, and a positive, team-oriented attitude.
- Ability to work with a diverse group of people and customers.
- Required to provide own (industry specific) hand tools.
- A valid driver’s license and/or reliable transportation required.
- Ability to travel to and work onsite up to a minimum of 95% of the time.
- HVAC certification.
- E.P.A Certification required (Type II – domestic HVAC systems).
- CPO (Certified Pool Operator) required.
- CAMT preferred or ability to obtain within the first year of employment.
- HVAC, supply purchasing and bidding experience helpful.
- E.P.A 410A certification preferred or ability to obtain within the first year of employment.
- Working knowledge of Microbial Growth is a plus.
- Lifting up to 50 pounds.
- Full range of motion with upper and lower body. Continual movement including, but not limited to: standing, walking, bending, stooping, crawling, and climbing stairs.
- Ability to work with both hands for frequent grasping and manipulation.
- Push or pull items and reaching overhead.
- Operation of a motor vehicle onsite, if applicable.
- Exposure to all weather conditions.
