Assistant Store Manager

The Assistant Store Manager helps plan, organize and manage all areas in a retail location, meeting or exceeding budgeted goals, and working closely with the regional manager to maintain appropriate inventory levels. The role involves developing relationships with faculty, recruiting and training staff, daily cash register operations, and providing customer service.

Requirements

• Three (3) to five (5) years’ in a college bookstore or retail operation
• Two (2) years: supervisory capacity
• Excellent team building skills
• Demonstrated administrative skills
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent use of Microsoft Office Software
