Operations Manager

The Operations Manager is responsible for the safe, reliable and effective delivery of the depot’s recycling and waste collections and street cleansing service. They must ensure high levels of customer service are maintained and deliver on the contract’s KPI's.

Requirements

• Transport Manager CPC Qualification
• People and health and safety management in a unionised environment
• Proven track record of working to clearly defined service delivery KPI’s
• Experience of vehicle management – CPC, tachographs, Road Transport Directive
• Proven track record of delivering continuous improvement
• Experience of producing and analysing reports using Microsoft Office Suite
• General knowledge of environmental responsibilities and existing health and safety legislation
• Analytical with the ability to measure & monitor data and take appropriate corrective action
