Operations Manager

The Operations Manager will be responsible for ensuring the safe, reliable, and effective delivery of the depot's recycling and waste collections and street cleansing service. They will maintain high levels of customer service, deliver on contract KPIs, and ensure compliance with contract requirements, Biffa policies, and health and safety rules.

Requirements

• Transport Manager CPC Qualification
• Experience in people and health and safety management in a unionized environment
• Proven track record of working to clearly defined service delivery KPIs
• Experience of vehicle management - CPC, tachographs, Road Transport Directive
• Proven track record of delivering continuous improvement within an operational/service environment
• Experience of producing and analysing reports using Microsoft Office Suite
• General knowledge of environmental responsibilities and existing health and safety legislation
• Ability to deal with conflict and negotiate/manage a suitable outcome
