CT Technologist (Per Diem)

The CT Technologist will be tasked with delivering high-quality computed tomography (CT) imaging services to patients at our New York City clinic on a per diem basis. This role offers exciting prospects for future full-time employment and the opportunity to cross-train in various imaging modalities such as DEXA and MRI.

Requirements

• Interpreting the orders provided by the physician or other prescribing medical professional
• Preparing and positioning patients for CT scans, ensuring their comfort and safety throughout the procedure
• Administering IVs that contain contrast dyes to enhance imaging
• Examining images to ensure they’re usable
• Accurately documenting patient information and procedure details in the electronic medical record system
• Cleaning and maintaining CT scan equipment
• Adhering to all local/state/federal regulations, codes, policies and procedures to ensure privacy and safety
