Job Description
Bird is seeking a Project Controls Director to lead project planning, scheduling, and budget cost controls on a major transit project. The role will involve developing and overseeing project controls systems, leading a team of project controls staff, and implementing earned value management plans.
Requirements
- Undergraduate degree in Business or Engineering, or equivalent
- 15+ years construction industry experience
- Strong proficiency with InEight software suite
- Proven experience in planning, scheduling, financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, estimating, and cost control
- Strong knowledge of the "Earned Value Management" principles
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proven problem solver with sound judgment
- Ability to work effectively with all levels of management and employees
- Detail oriented and customer focused
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
