Project Coordinator

Bird is a dynamic team of over 5,000 with a range of professions, backgrounds, and areas of expertise. We are looking for a Project Coordinator to assume responsibility for all aspects of project execution, including preparing and executing the overall work plan and schedule, maintaining project site files and documents, and liaising with architects, consultants, and subcontractors.

Requirements

• Completed post-secondary degree or diploma in a construction-related discipline
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a project support role, preferably with an ICI General Contractor or subcontractor
• Experience working on commercial and/or institutional projects from start to finish
• Ability to read and interpret contract specifications, drawings, and other construction documents
• Excellent computer skills and proficiency with MS Office, including MS Project; experience with SharePoint is a plus
• Strong organizational and time management skills to prioritize workload and stay on top of things as the project demands increase
• Client service and customer focus to establish and maintain effective relationships with customers
• Self-motivated with strong willingness and ability to learn and be challenged
