Project Manager - Civil Transportation Engineer

BKF is a multi-service infrastructure consulting firm providing civil engineering and surveying services across California, the Pacific Northwest, and beyond. We are looking for a Project Manager with 10+ years of experience in civil engineering and a California Professional Engineering (P.E.) license to lead Transportation Infrastructure projects in the Northern California area.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering or related field
• California Professional Engineer (P.E.) license
• 10 years of experience in transportation infrastructure, including design and project management of roadway, transit, or related civil projects
• Strong background in transportation design, including roadway geometry, traffic control, grading, and utility coordination
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to engage with new and existing clients, internal teams, and stakeholders
• Demonstrated success in building client relationships and strategic positioning for project opportunities
• Entrepreneurial drive to pursue new transportation projects and establish a local presence, with the potential to grow and lead a small team
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively to pursue and win transportation infrastructure projects
