Job Description
Network Technician I responsible for installing, testing and certifying structured and patch panel cabling in a data center environment. Assist in troubleshooting network equipment and cabling, and support facilities management, site security and project engagement.
Requirements
- 2-5 yrs experience relevant experience, preferably at least 1 year in a data center environment
- In-depth knowledge of structured cabling
- Knowledge of IEEE and BICSI cabling standards
- Ability to clean high speed single and multi-mode optical connections
- Ability to measure, transmit and receive on high-speed optics
- Knowledge and experience to work safely with high-speed single mode long range optical lasers
- Experience with Fluke Versiv Mainframe
