Job Description
The Senior Internal Auditor assists the Internal Audit Manager in overseeing the safety and soundness of the Credit Union's assets by evaluating internal control procedures. The role involves conducting complex audits, risk assessments, and control testing, and providing subject-matter expertise in specialized areas.
Requirements
- Performs and leads complex operational, financial, compliance, and IT audits
- Conducts detailed risk assessments, walkthroughs, and control testing
- Drafts audit reports
- Provides subject-matter expertise in specialized areas
- Follows up on corrective actions
- Assists with annual risk assessment
- Supports the VP during regulatory exams, external audits
- Attend Supervisory Committee meetings as requested and assist with preparation of materials
