Service Technician

Blake & Pendleton Service Technicians provide maintenance and repair support for customers operating in manufacturing, utility, forestry, or mining industries. They possess a high degree of experience and are expected to continually improve skills through equipment modifications. Technicians must follow safety regulations and work on-call if required.

Requirements

• Troubleshooting 120V control circuits.
• Reading and comprehending wiring diagrams.
• Troubleshooting and repairing single phase and 3Phase motor control circuits (up to 480V).
• Using multimeters, ampmeters, and interferometers.
• Reading and comprehending P&I drawings.
• Troubleshooting and repairing air compressor control components.
• Knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic principles.
• Knowledge of various types of piping (copper, black, galvanized).
• Knowledge of threading, sweating, brazing and welding (a plus).
• Ability to bend and install control tubing.
