Engineering Manager

Block is a renovation platform transforming the $500 billion renovation industry. We’re looking for an Engineering Manager / Team Lead to lead a small, high-impact team of engineers while remaining deeply hands-on in the codebase.

Requirements

• Lead and develop a team of 4–6 engineers
• Spend approximately 50% of your time contributing directly to the codebase
• Partner closely with Product Management, Design, and Engineering Leadership
• Actively participate in architectural decisions, technical design discussions, and code reviews
• Lead by example in adopting and evolving AI-native, agentic development workflows
• Support execution by managing team capacity, prioritization, and delivery
