Job Description
Bloom Energy is looking for a Principal Automation Deployment Engineer to join their team in Newark, DE. The role involves designing and deploying automated manufacturing and assembly equipment, developing specifications, and managing suppliers for custom automation projects.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering
- 7+ years' experience in equipment design and manufacturing automation
- Proficiency in 3D design (SolidWorks or equivalent) and preferably PLC/HMI programming (Siemens, Allen-Bradley, etc.)
- Proven experience completing automation projects from ideation to machine design, execution, commissioning, and production release
- Extensive experience with robotics, motion control, pneumatics, and machine vision systems
- Strong project management and problem-solving skills
- Excellent collaboration and communication with cross-functional teams
- Proven ability to lead technical projects and manage vendor interactions
