Job Description
Blount Fine Foods is a family-owned manufacturer and marketer of premium fresh prepared foods. They are seeking a Maintenance Tech III to perform maintenance, repairs, and facility improvements while upholding food safety and quality standards. The role involves electrical maintenance, troubleshooting, and ensuring reliability of manufacturing equipment.
Requirements
- Perform planned PM's, maintenance inspections/repairs as required.
- Perform emergency repairs and adjustments while line is running in a timely and efficient manner.
- Modify/fabricate equipment to maintain and improve the production process.
- Maintain building facilities, including waste water treatment, refrigeration systems and steam systems.
- Install new equipment to improve current production processes.
- Maintain the facility and equipment to ensure maximum reliability.
- Maintain outside perimeter of facility during winter months.
- Troubleshoot and maintain programmable Logic Controllers.
- Electrical knowledge for troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance.
- Adherence to food safety and GMPs, SOPs, and policies.
