Avionics Test Engineer III – Lunar Core Components

As an Avionics Components Test Engineer on the Lunar Core Components team, you will serve as the test engineer for one or more Command & Data Handling units or embedded controllers reused across multiple vehicles and mechanisms supporting human lunar missions.

Requirements

• B.S. or B.A. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a relevant technical field
• 5+ years of hands-on experience testing and/or integrating electronic systems or devices
• Sound understanding of electronics and electrical circuit fundamentals
• Experience developing and executing test plans and procedures in a structured engineering environment
• Familiarity with embedded controller behavior including fault detection, isolation, and recovery (FDIR), safe states, and built-in test
• Experience supporting or leading environmental qualification test campaigns (thermal, vibration, EMI/EMC, or equivalent)
• Ability to read and interpret schematics, ICDs, and requirements documents
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including documenting test results and supporting technical reviews
