Requirements
- Identify opportunities which support Blue Origin’s strategic priorities through interaction with senior business leaders, entrepreneurs, venture capitalists, investment bankers, and organic pipeline generation
- Act as a subject matter expert on financial analysis, deal structuring, and valuation
- Lead financial analysis, synergy forecasting, valuation and due diligence of potential acquisitions
- Lead cross-functional due diligence teams, including legal, finance & accounting, tax, human resources, operations, IT, sales, and strategy
- Lead deal flow process from term sheet signature to integration
- Evaluate opportunities and risks in potential transactions
- Work with all cross-functional groups from term sheet signature to proper integration
- Perform research, reporting and analysis on M&A activity in the industry
- Present investment thesis memos and recommendations for all stages of the deal process (sourcing to integration planning)
- Build and maintain tools, analytics, and reporting to highlight performance measurements
