At Blue Origin, we are seeking a Level 3 Cryogenic Fluids Engineer to join our team and support the development and operations of New Glenn's 2nd Generation launch vehicle. The ideal candidate will have experience in fluids and thermal systems, engineering principles, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Requirements
- Four-year aerospace or mechanical engineering degree
- 5+ years of experience in a similar role
- Experience with Solid modelling or plant modelling, piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs), and configuration control of engineering and documentation
- Experience understanding fabrication and installation drawings
- Knowledge of standard components, installation, and fabrication methods of piping systems
- Proficient with fluid dynamics, thermodynamics, and heat transfer principles
- Proven expertise in utilizing AFT Fathom and Arrow or similar tools for advanced analysis and design of Fluid systems
- Proficient in Thermal Desktop for complex thermofluid analysis
