At Blue Origin, we are looking for a Materials and Processes Engineer II to support the development and operations of the New Glenn launch system’s 7-Engine and 9-Engine booster programs. This role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to address material challenges, review production drawings, and develop manufacturing processes.
Requirements
- Collaborating as part of a hardworking team to address material challenges in various spaceflight systems
- Reviewing production drawings for large, complex assemblies to ensure optimal material selection and process implementation
- Developing, documenting, and optimizing manufacturing processes for both metallic and non-metallic hardware
- Selecting materials and defining design requirements to meet engineering, structural, and program goals
- Working collaboratively with cross-functional teams to optimize overall system design and performance
