Real Assets Fund Accounting, Vice President

Blue Owl is seeking a strategic accounting professional to manage one of their real assets private equity funds. The qualified Vice President will oversee accurate and timely financial reporting, ensure compliance with GAAP and fund documentation, and lead the fund accounting team.

Requirements

• 7+ years of private equity real estate accounting experience
• Knowledge of REIT rules and tax implications (plus)
• Experience working with third-party fund administrators
• ‘Fair value’ accounting background
• Understanding of debt agreements
• Ability to efficiently utilize excel spreadsheets and accounting software systems
• Experience interpreting limited partnership agreement, long terms lease and mortgages
• Experience with reporting investment activity to institutional investors
• Bachelor’s degree in related field
• CPA preferred, not required
