Component Test Engineer (entry-level)

Join Blue Water Autonomy's mission to develop dual-use technology for U.S. and allied navies. As a Component Test Engineer, you will design, prototype, and test mechanical components for uncrewed surface vessels, applying engineering expertise to drive the development of next-generation maritime technologies.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering and relevant professional experience
• Working knowledge of analytic tools, such as ANSYS, MathCad, Solidworks
• Working knowledge of core engineering concepts, including, but not limited to, mechanics, materials science, and fluid dynamics
• Proven experience with product development and the entirety of the product life cycle
• Strong ability with computer-aided design systems, including CAM and CAE
• Master's degree in mechanical engineering
• Aerospace or maritime engineering experience
• Strong CFD simulation experience
• 3+ years designing complex mechanical systems
• Proven experience developing innovative solutions to a range of mechanical problems
