The Biomedical Equipment Imaging Technician will perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of CT scanners, MRI machines, X-Ray machines, and ultrasound machines to ensure their optimal performance and contribute to the overall success of patient care.
Requirements
- Biomedical Technician License
- Two-year associate degree or higher in an applied science
- Proven experience in maintaining and repairing CT scanners, MRI machines, X-Rays, and ultrasound machines
- Understanding of regulatory agencies' requirements, industry regulatory requirements and International Standard Organization standards
- Familiarity with the setup and application of test equipment
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical literature, schematics, and drawings
- Minimum of three years of hospital or healthcare experience performing medical equipment maintenance
