Corporate Counsel - Intellectual Property, Patents and Commercial Transactions

Blue Yonder is seeking an experienced intellectual property attorney to join its corporate legal team. The ideal candidate is an energetic, highly organized self-starter who thrives in a team environment and can work on multiple projects with limited supervision.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school
• Member in good standing of at least one state bar and preferably registered to practice before the United States Patent and Trademark Office
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as an intellectual property attorney at a top-tier law firm and/or in-house legal position
• Extensive knowledge of patent, copyright, trademark, and trade secret law, with a strong focus on software and technology
• Experience advising software companies and familiarity with software development and licensing practices
• Excellent written/verbal communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with ability to draft, review, and negotiate complex agreements
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to provide pragmatic legal advice that factors in business objectives
• Team player who can collaborate effectively with colleagues across departments
• Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to manage multiple transactions and competing priorities in a fast-paced, fluid, and deadline-driven environment
