Job Description
The Data Scientist enables advanced analytics and data-driven decision-making across the Joint Intelligence Operations Center (JIOC). This role applies scientific, statistical, and computational techniques to process, structure, and analyze large volumes of multi-source intelligence data.
Requirements
- Master’s degree or Ph.D. in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related quantitative discipline.
- Advanced proficiency in multiple programming languages, analytical frameworks, and machine learning libraries.
- Deep expertise in AI/ML, deep learning, and artificial intelligence applications.
- Strong understanding of multi-INT fusion and large-scale intelligence analytics.
- Demonstrated success deploying predictive models in operational or mission environments.
- Experience developing custom analytical solutions for complex intelligence problems.
- Advanced proficiency with cloud platforms, distributed computing, and big data systems.
- Experience leading data science teams and mentoring junior professionals.
- Strong understanding of intelligence enterprise requirements and mission priorities.
- Ability to translate complex analytical results into operational recommendations.
- Familiarity with DevOps and production deployment processes for analytic solutions.
