Expressive Therapist

We are seeking a dynamic Expressive Therapist to join our interdisciplinary patient treatment team. The Expressive Therapist will plan and facilitate therapeutic recreational groups and activities, conduct patient assessments, and create medically- and socially- appropriate recreation activities for patients. This is a full-time position in a state-of-the-art facility.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Expressive Therapy from an accredited institute required, Master's Degree preferred
• Registered by the Ohio recreational therapy registration board or certified by the national council for therapeutic recreation certification (NCTRC) and/or Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist (CTRS) reappointment; or is licensed, certified or registered by another recognized state or national body to practice recreational therapy
• A minimum of one (1) year experience with at-risk youth, developmental disabilities, autism or psychiatric/behavioral health nursing highly desirable
• Basic computer skills
• Electronic health record systems experience preferred
