Job Description
The Expressive Arts Therapist will conduct groups for adult and adolescent patients using various therapies including exercise, animal assisted therapy, art, music, and dance. The therapist will serve as a member of the interdisciplinary treatment team.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of experience working on an inpatient psychiatric program or in mental health field
- Knowledge of psychiatric and addictive disease diagnoses and treatment
- Flexibility and teaching or training skills
- Understanding of DSM 5 methodology
- Eligible for professional certification, licensure with state or national professional affiliation preferred
