Managing Director, Head of the Funds & Asset Managers Credit Risk

BNY is seeking a Managing Director, Head of the Funds & Asset Managers Credit Risk to lead a global team of credit risk professionals and oversee credit quality and risk management of fund and asset manager products. The role combines deep analytical rigor with data-driven insights to guide smart risk decisions.

Requirements

• Lead and manage a global team of credit risk professionals
• Provide expert credit oversight for alternative fund structures and asset managers
• Oversee credit assessment and approval for a diverse product set
• Perform comprehensive analytical financial reviews
• Serve as a consultative partner and challenger to the first line
• Collaborate with the 1LOD, Chief Credit Risk Officer, and Risk Analytics teams
• Facilitate and chair the quarterly Funds & Asset Managers Portfolio Management Committee
• Contribute to the enhancement of credit evaluation methodologies and risk models
• Attend client due diligence and site meetings
• Prepare and deliver periodic written and oral updates to regulators
• Ensure credit policies, procedures, and guidelines remain current
