Job Description
BNY is a leading global financial services company seeking a Senior Vice President / Full Stack Engineer to join their TSG Automation and Tools team. The role involves building and operating automated capabilities, designing and implementing backend infrastructure automation services, and utilizing DevOps best practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience
- 10-14 years of experience in software development required
- Experience in the securities or financial services industry is a plus
- 9 - 12 years of experience preferred in storage engineering or software development
- Strong experience with storage infrastructure concepts (NAS, SAN, object storage) and vendor ecosystems such as NetApp, EMC, and Pure
- Proficiency in Python development frameworks (Django, Flask), RESTful API design, OOP, and integration patterns
- Frontend development skills with modern JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5/CSS3, accessibility standards (WCAG), and testing frameworks (Jest, Jasmine, Karma)
- Solid knowledge of SQL and MongoDB fundamentals
- Experience with development tooling including Python IDEs (VS Code, PyCharm), Git, CI/CD pipelines, Ansible, and Agile methodologies (JIRA, Confluence)
- Familiarity with scripting and automation tools, and AI development toolsets such as Windsurf
