Job Description
The Shipping Clerk is responsible for real-time analysis and assisting the coordination and balance of Shipping Operations. The Shipping Clerk will also monitor and document all productivity measurements, support the Shipping Manager/Lead to ensure all tasks are ready for the production crew, and support the Shipping Manager/Lead to ensure all end of day (EOD) tasks are completed.
Requirements
- Responsible for real-time analysis, coordination and balance of Shipping Operations.
- Collects and records current productivity numbers and reports them to the Shipping Manager.
- Monitor and track attendance daily
- Reporting, researching and resolving issues that occur in the interface between host system and WMS in a timely manner.
- Provides administrative support for the Shipping Manager/Lead.
- Develops and maintains a working knowledge and understanding of all Shipping technology.
- Support Shipping Manager/Leads as needed.
