Job Description
The Melt Operator is responsible for observing inside furnaces, operating controls, and preparing material to load into furnaces. The position requires a high school diploma, 1 year of work experience, and excellent hand and eye coordination.
Requirements
- High school diploma, GED or equivalent
- 1 year of continuous work experience in an industrial, manufacturing, or distribution environment
- Previous forklift experience
- Ability to communicate effectively and respectfully
- Quality conscious and attention to detail
- Ability to work well with others in a collaborative team environment
- Excellent hand and eye coordination
