Structural Design Engineer - Bombardier Defense

Bombardier is seeking a Structural Design Engineer to investigate and develop solutions for design build issues, resolve build problems, and coordinate with affected engineering disciplines. The role involves designing flight test engineering changes, coordinating with work package owners, and defining structural instructions. This position requires a U.S. citizen or permanent resident with experience in aircraft modifications and a strong mechanical engineering background.

Requirements

• Investigate design build issues and develop structural engineering solutions
• Author temporary engineering to resolve build issues
• Author engineering to define structural special instructions or restrictions
• Design and Release Special Missions Engineering structural and systems installations
• Experience in Special Missions or Aftermarket modifications
• Experience in Team leadership
• Proficiency in MS Office tools, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
• Fluency in verbal and written communication
• Aircraft or manufacturing experience a plus
• Experience in Special Missions or Aftermarket modifications a plus
