Extrusion Process Engineer

Bonnell Aluminum is a leading manufacturer of custom aluminum extrusions in North America. The company is searching for a responsible process engineer to lead the optimization and automation of production processes at its Niles, MI facility.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s in engineering or other related technical degree, or equivalent work experience
• SolidWorks/AutoCAD or similar experience
• Strong communication and time management skills
• Strong leadership skills; to work within a team environment
• Proficient in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and Word)
• Previous project management and capital expenditure experience (preferred)
• Excellent understanding of all aluminum extrusion processes (preferred)
• Excellent understanding of metallurgical properties of various aluminum alloys (preferred)
• Hands-on experience with all facets of extrusion processing in a production environment (preferred)
• Ability in developing and maintaining strong relationships with production staff (preferred)
• Experience in utilizing Six Sigma and lean tools (preferred)
