Sustainment Planner

The Sustainment Planner will work on incorporating current and emerging sustainment doctrine, lessons learned, and best practices into the design and execution of all Warfighter Exercises (WFXs) in accordance with FORSCOM Business Rules. The role will involve coordinating the allocation, placement, and simulation functioning of all sustainment units, establishing a sustainment baseline for every WFX, and ensuring sustainment functionality and simulation settings are configured to meet training objectives for all participating forces.

Requirements

• Experience as a field grade officer
• Experience in a key developmental position at the brigade or battalion level
• Experience in Army Sustainment, including with two or more areas, such as Logistics, Health Service Support, Human Resources, or Financial Management
• Experience with Microsoft Office Word and PowerPoint software
• Knowledge of Army and Joint doctrine
• Ability to use Microsoft Office Word and PowerPoint software
• Ability to Travel up to 20% of the time CONUS and OCONUS
• Secret clearance
• Bachelor's degree
• Completion of Military Education Level (MEL) 4 CGSC or Warrant Officer or SGM's program equivalent
