Director, Business Development – Data Centers & Microgrid Solutions (Industrial Solutions)

The Director, Business Development – Data Centers & Microgrid Solutions (Industrial Solutions) will originate and close new business with hyperscalers, colocation providers, and data center developers, build senior-level relationships, and position BorgWarner's industrial power and microgrid solutions as reliable, scalable, and commercially viable. The role will involve leading complex, long-cycle deal development, shaping customer-driven product roadmaps, and providing structured market intelligence. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of selling into hyperscalers, data centers, or large energy-intensive customers and experience in power generation, microgrids, critical infrastructure, or industrial energy systems.

Requirements

• Proven experience selling into hyperscalers, data centers, or large energy-intensive customers
• Track record of closing complex, multi-stakeholder infrastructure or energy deals
• Deep understanding of how hyperscalers buy (procurement, technical approval, commercial decision flow)
• Background in power generation, microgrids, critical infrastructure, or industrial energy systems
• Ability to operate autonomously and influence without hierarchy
