The Hardware Architect Engineer identifies and evaluates hardware architectural elements, creates hardware architectural design specifications, and oversees hardware integration and test. They analyze and structure HW requirements, develop the HW architecture, and refine hardware requirements. They also set priorities for the HW development team and provide technical support for hardware environmental and electromagnetic compatibility validation.
Requirements
- Masters or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronic or an associated field
- 5 years of experience in automotive inverter or OBC/DCDC for Master’s degree or 7 years for Bachelor’s degree
- At least two product experience as the key designer
- Multi-in-one controller design experience is a plus
- Good foundation knowledge in hardware embedded system and power electronics
- Familiar with analog circuits, digital circuits, drive and protection circuits of IGBT/MOSFET
- Familiar with micro-controller, SBC/PIMC, gate driver, MOSFET/IGBT
- Experience within effective problem-solving methodologies
- Strong communication skills are essential
- AIAG/VDA FMEA and ISO26262 training is a benefit
- Good at communication with English
