Manager, Hardware Test Engineering

Boston Dynamics is seeking a Test Engineering Manager to lead a team of test engineers and develop test strategies for hardware and firmware validation. The role involves designing and building test fixtures, performing data analysis, and carrying out DVT, reliability testing, and compliance testing.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in electrical test engineering
• 2-4 years in technical leadership or people management roles
• Hands-on experience designing, building and debugging electro-mechanical test setups
• Experience with lab equipment including oscilloscopes, power supplies, programmable loads, thermal probes
• Experience with compliance testing including conducted/radiated emissions and safety
• Experience with Python, and command-line operations in a UNIX-like OS
• Experience with communication interfaces, e.g. CAN, Ethernet, SPI, and I2C
