Job Description
Boston Dynamics is seeking a Mechanical Engineering Intern to contribute to gripper development on the Atlas program. The intern will design mechanical parts and assemblies, build and test prototypes, and perform experiments to validate design improvements.
Requirements
- Work within a multidisciplinary team of mechanical, electrical, and software engineers
- Contribute to design and support complex robotic gripper systems
- Design and release parts and assemblies using Catia CAD software
- Planning and performing prototype hardware testing
- Troubleshoot issues and perform root cause failure analysis
- Develop and maintain support documentation
- Support system design analyses
